Mahindra Auto Quotient 2010 -- I won West Zone Finals

For those who didn't know, Mahindra Auto Quotient is India's first auto quiz. A quiz that will have engineering students from across the country revving up to overtake each other in this challenge.

The Mumbai rounds were held today at IIT Powai. In all, 16 teams from various cities across India have qualified for the National rounds. I along with my friend have qualified from Mumbai.

The next rounds will be in September end and will be telecasted on NDTV.

looks like it is raining TBhpians in the auto Q.
another Bhpian won the bangalore round held in Msrit.
I also participated in the competition and got around 16 answers out of 25 right.
I dont know the bhpians handle.

Congrats mate. I didn't get past the prelims

, but nevertheless I won some goodies. Thanks to TBHP for the knowledge I gained.

OT: A lot of participants said they follow TBHP, sure is a good sign!! We are gaining visibility

The level of questions was quite difficult. Questions were based on all possible areas. From identifying a car to naming the manufacturer who was first to bring some 'X' technology to identifying a car/bike commercial etc.. Many Qs were on pre-1950 cars too. Then there were questions from F1, MotoGP and LeMans.

I too found the prelims more tough than the actual verbal round.

Congrat's ragingbull! I'm aware that a couple of other BHPians too were part of the Mahindra AQ. Good luck for the upcoming rounds and let us know when its being telecast on tv. Would love to catch it.

Congrats man. I had gone for it last year, and had qualified as well. This year I was too lazy to go I think, I don't remember exactly why. Good luck with the next round.
