The new zodiac signs

Washington: Astronomers suggest an overhaul in the process of defining horoscope on the basis of one's birth date as the earth's position vis-a-vis the sun and other stars has changed since the astrological signs were determined over 2,000 years ago.

Apart from the existing 12 astrological signs, the experts include a 13th sign Ophiuchus, a formation which the ancient Babylonians discarded because they wanted 12 star signs.

According to astronomers, the 'real' dates of all the 12 astrological signs will be altered for about a period of 30 days
.

Here are the 'real' dates of astrological signs:

Capricorn: Jan 20 to Feb 16.

Aquarius: Feb 16 to March 11.

Pisces: March 11 to April 18.

Aries: April 18 to May 13.

Taurus: May 13 to June 21.

Gemini: June 21 to July 20.

Cancer: July 20 to Aug 10.

Leo: Aug 10 to Sep 16.

Virgo: Sep 16 to Oct 30.

Libra: Oct 30 to Nov 23.

Scorpio: Nov 23 to 29.

Ophiuchus: Nov 29 to Dec 17.

Sagittarius: Dec 17 to Jan 20.

OMG, this means that my sign moved from Libra to Virgo. Does this mean I get new characteristics of Virgo for free

. What if I still prefer to be a Libran.

Interesting to see "astronomers" re-defining "astrology". I thought they never believed in those signs. It is similar to the prayers and poojas that happens before launching a rocket in ISRO.

Now do they want me to change my traits?

Jokes apart... I really don't care what some stupid star signs tells/predicts but for some reason was proud of my Scorpio tag!!!

PS: No love towards that 4-wheeler which goes by the same name...

WOW I lost my bragging rights as a Leo!!!! I used to have cancerians for breakfast and now I have become one of them- fodder for newly throned Lions

How true is this nonsense? Ive never believed much in these things but Im a bit surprised how this change is going against so may well known Astrologers like Bejan Daruwala who has published his 2011 preditions without making these date changes??!!!!

Honestly all this is a bunch of bul$hi+ as the last line in the article states

Do not be do disturbed. Your sign actually was able to discover how to make humans immortal. Therefore Zeus killed him(after all only gods should be immortal). Since he was the good guy, his image was put on the portal to heavens or something.
