I dont want to offend anyone here. But I have a different though on these add on apps. This is what it says and I quote. Sorry, dont have a screen capture software.

"Picbadge is requesting permission to do the following:

-Access my basic informationIncludes name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, and any other information I've shared with everyone.
-Send me email
-PicBadges may email me directly at-----
-Post to my Wall
-PicBadges may post status messages, notes, photos, and videos to my Wall
-Access my photos and videos
-Photos Uploaded by Me"

It asks for permissions to access all your data. My suggestion to you would be to stay away from all this stuff. Instead use a photo editing software to add the picbadge and use it.

Your personal information would be shared/sold. You will keep getting spams etc. Just my view. I dont mean to offend anyone or discard a lovely idea. But lets do it the safer way.

^^ this particular message flashes up every time you use a Facebook Application (even FarmVille, Mafia Wars and sorts). Nothing reportedly notorious about it so far. Again, its very much a personal choice

Earlier, I had mentioned in this thread that I faced some problems while accessing the PicBadge site. Few hours back, I fixed the issue all by myself!

But, I didn't like the way the badge was imprinted on my DP. Yes, I opted against using the PicBadge. ;(

- Just hit the 'print screen' button
- Open MS Paint
- Go to Edit -> Paste.

My simple philosophy is not to give access to my friend's list and other information to any app. Why does an app to decorate my pic needs access to everything else on my profile?
