Wagon R Space saver install - Can anyone beat this?

Here are a few pics of my friend Javed's car. The install was done by Satya (Blueraven316) EVO.

The best part of this install is that there is no compromise on the luggage space, in spite of having front compos, rear 6x9 and 10" subwoofer and a 4ch amp.

HU: Clarion DXZ575UB which has aux-in, USB and 6V pre-outs.
Front: Illusion Audio Components 6.5"
Rear: Alpine 6x9 on rear quarter glass
Amp: Crunch 100.4
Sub: 10" JBL under the driver seat!

Satya has done a great job and I wanted to post it here for other Wagon R owners who would want a space saver install with great sounding music!!!

The rear 6x9s have been connected directly to HU and tuned by Satya so that it doesnt sound too loud for rear passengers.

Needless to say, the front compos rock and the amp tuning has been done in an impeccable way by Satya to extract the maximum juice out of it.

No damping done due to a tight buget. Wires are eFX/ Scosche.

The luggage space is not compromised even by 1% :-)

Your comments guys?

Nice install there!

OT: Doesnt the woofer under the front seat give you thump in the wrong place.

Great Install! Best WagonR install I've seen.

It must sound really great, with the bass right in front. Lucky you, Gopz, Congrats! Great install, Satya!

BTW, where's the amp? Under the rear seat, or under the shotgun seat?

Excellent space-saving work. How do the quarter glass look from the outside?? Any pictures there ?

The amp is under the cleaners' seat, Sub is under the drivers seat and the quarter glass has been covered with black sheets, so from outside it just looks like a black glass window.

Just a thought: Isn't the quarter glass important? If no, why has the manufacturer put it in the first place?

For a little thing called safety. Like those times you have a cyclist or a child in your blind spot while reversing.

Yes very neat work from Satya here. I was there getting my Magnum upgraded on the same day when the work on this car (I think) and another Wagon R (Green color) was being done.

Actually the installation was done around 6 months ago :-)

When you saw it the other day, they were getting the reversing sensors installed.

Just wanted to post it here to help other WagonR owners save their boot space too, and to highlight Satya's excellent work!

Good work Satya!!

The installation saves space. But I would not prefer to remove the quater glass as it improves the rear view, especially the corner, while reversing.

Is there any disadvantage of placing sub under the seat? Boot space is limited for me im my Getz.

Yes, I remember. While my car was being upgraded, Satya showed me his work in your car. It looks really cool. However, was only wondering about the positioning of the sub under the driver's seat. Does it feel ok to have it there.

In any case, will show this to a colleague of mine who has a Wagon R. He will sure get tempted to upgrade his car after seeing your setup
