re: Help on a sticky situation in Bangalore

1) Ask your wife to drive up to the hospital entrance and start blaring car's horn, make her centre of attraction for passerby's.

2) In case you have not contacted the police till now , a quick search on google maps gives me the nearest station as Mico Layout Police Station - Number : 080 - 22942569.

3) Check with neighbours/friends if anyone can either go to where your wife is or come look after the kids while you go there.

I'll try to contact my friends in Bangalore. Don't worry, and try to get Police help ASAP.

re: Help on a sticky situation in Bangalore

My wife is on the way back, a friend is accompanying her till home.
I spoke to Ajit, Chaitnaya, Prashant and a lot more guys.

Thank you for kind words. That puts faith in community and gives me courage.

Will post detailed account.
As of now, even my wife can be at mistake so I am not ruling her mistake out. Being a cynic I am, I ll have to inspect car before penning down everything that transpired.

Hi Pradeep,

It does not matter whose fault is it, but the way the entire incident played out is rather worrying. Even if it is your wife's fault that does not give those rouges to behave the way they did. I blasted the security at Fortis for their part and not helping out. They should have at least made an effort in helping your wife and not stand around and watch the tamasha like a bunch of eunuchs.

Please provide a detailed account and post it on FB page of Bangalore traffic police for their inability to help a lady in distress. This is not the way they are supposed to behave.

Because of such apathy these anti social elements behave the way they did. Unless we take corrective steps these rouges will not learn their lessons.

re: Help on a sticky situation in Bangalore

Ajit, my wife told that security refused to help her.
Frigging idiots if you ask me.

I feel like idiot sitting here not able to help her. When she spoke Doctor to duty, he said - "these people are like this, give money and save yourself trouble".

Honestly, in efforts to see my wife safe and sound I decided not to stop her and let her do whatever she felt was good at that time.

I totally agree this no way people can misbehave with a lone woman.
The fear caused by intimidation led by couple of people along with abusive and rowdy behavior is too much to take for a lone woman at night.

I feel enraged that such people can do whatever they want in Bangalore, with even police turning their backs to us.
