Broke my right side mirror

Well .. today i was off to colaba fer some work.. on my way i stopped at the signal.. was taking a left turn.... a truck driver stopped next to me.i realised he was too close to me .. i was on the extreme left..i had no place to move ... i honked the hell out... and as soon as the signal went green.. this dude.. took off his huge tyres ... destroying my side view.. well but the accent comes with a pretty strong 180 degree foldable.. mirror.. but it broke i got down did a litlle bit of bashing up(nothing to be proud off)checked my mirror .. the electronics . are still working .. its only that its looks like its got an erectile dysfunction.. and is hanging... looks pathetic... and is really difficult driving around without it..

luckily only a first degree scratch on the front right ..

i am annoyed because it wasnt even my fault ... i was jus waiting

Oh man dont you just hate it when that happens. Some days back a cab passenger opened her door without looking back right in the middle of crowded fully running with traffic road. I never even saw that door, damaged my car quite a bit. :(

Had to change my mirror too...since mine is non-electric, so it was around 925 bucks, expect yours to be dearer. Look at the brighter side atleast the bodywork was not damaged like in my case.

I've come to the conclusion that any car/bus/scooter/truck driver who hits your car... apparently sucks

N i know man.. it pinches each time your prized baby takes a hit. No matter how old she is.... it stil hurts.

Next time ....

Take the keys off the Vehicle that hit ur car and throw it in the sea ... and run away ! LOL .. that would give the suck3rs time to think bout what they did to ur car.

aZa, I thought about this many times. the problem is "running away" in the city traffic.

LOL, especially the broken RVM of Ford Ikon

Meanwhile one trax scratched my back bumper in heavy traffic. This guy was trying to sneak in to my lane, but had no idea about the length/breadth of his jeep. Luckly the incident left some black plastic/polish on my car- no scratch on mine.
Wonder how to remove it?

Thats really sad but btw why didnt you fold your mirror when you knew there was a probability of the truck hitting it ??

It was with a biker, when walking on pedestrian platform down airport road. As usual the road was packed with traffic. One biker came down behind me ( yes he was driving on the platform ment for walking) and honked bit too hard. I got really pissed off, tunred around, took the keys off the bike, throwed it away(gave nice hard throw...), turned around, kept walking. I have no idea what happaned to the keys or what that biker did... hell with people who drive on walk ways.

But guys, dont try this. It could be injurious to health...

Ouch,
this happened to our Ikon a couple of years ago.
Was waiting at Warden Road to take the U turn when a bus comes next to us wanting to go left. After it passed halfway through the car the guy suddenly moved the bus to the right so that the last half of the bus could break our LHS mirror.
And we were waiting at the signal while he coolly ran away.
