Good news for a change!

Today on my way to office, I saw school kids in Traffic junction, holding banners displaying "dont drink and drive" "wear helmets" "dont use mobile phones etc" and as traffic stopped they would move around with the placards... this was really nice to see. I hope schools are taking issue of traffic sense seriously and impart some knowledge to all students.

Though the initiative is well-meant, it puts the kids at risk of being run down by some crazy motorist... specially bikers who come racing between cars.

Idea seems nice but yeah the safety of the children sounds a big concern. It would be better if they use an alternative approach.
