No No those were not these. These were more part of UP MP later replaced by Vikrams.

The ones that I was talking about had the Harley Davidson bike upto the rear wheel almost and then a chassis for the passenger area. I was talking about early 80's and they had petrol engines but not very silent but very sweet sounding exhaust note (as per my Dad's opinion then!!). He told me that they were second world war harley davidsons, and since that was the first time I heard that name, I still remembered every word he said!.

However did not see them in my recent visit to Delhi 3 yrs back.

My favourite seat was always the right-front, just to watch that gearshift!

Guess what the new Mahindra cabbies that replaced them still retain the same name "Phat-Phat" Seva

Couldn't stop to click but saw a horrible accident on the Gurgaon Faridabad road yesterday morning. An Innova with the drivers side smashed to pulp. God knows what happened to the driver and the passengers because that place is in the middle of nowhere. Any help would take atleast an hour to arrive (at the very least).

That is one heck on an accident prone road. Each day siting a couple of accidents is a rule rather than an exception.
