Another crash, another fire, another death in Delhi

Guys, is it something to do with planetary positions or what? We're hearing of almost one nasty accident a day! Here's a link from the Times of India - Man killed after car rams wall, catches fire

Two guys returning from a (wedding?) party in the wee hours of the morning, car slams into a wall, catches fire, guys pulled out but the driver dies (apparently from the force of the impact not the fire).

As always, Hindustan Times has a slightly different version where they've confirmed that both were drunk & the passenger had dozed off so couldn't say why or how the crash happened. The car is a holy mess, looks like one hell of an impact.

Possibly another high speed loss of control incident arising out of DUI - how many more I wonder

According to the police by the markings on the right of the car, it appeared that before crashing into the wall the car had been hit by another vehicle.

Looks really bad. Car is totally gutted. You're right Suman, it really looks like there's at least one happening every day!

Looks like some one has put fire to it, horrible mess. I think its time every car comes with a fuel cut off upon impact.

the report says that they hit the median before losing control.

Dunno about that, I am just quoting what police is saying. They are speculating about hit with another vehicle, something we may never know as the only eyewitness was too asleep/drunk
