Considering it is election time, I would guess this is a paid news for promotion.
As per below article, FY19 target was only 6000km and NHAI seem to have under achieved as predicted. The article says the NHAI projects may fall short by 37%, that means the realistic target predicted in the beginning of year was around 3500-4000km.
10800km by lane kilometre concept would be around 2700km if we consider 4 lanes. https://economictimes.indiatimes.com...w/67129550.cms |
