My update on CNG Availability for the benefits of others -

1. Get the gas filled at Pune itself and refill it at Shikrapur.
2. Next Gas station is at Ahmadnagar - but then take the bypass to Aurangabad and then get it filled at MIDC.
3. Next CNG station is at Aurangabad - Jalna Road - there are three stations on this road.
4. After this - there is no CNG station till Nagpur.
5. In Nagpur there are three stations - but then all are private that is from RowMatt - one on Wadi, Wardhman Nagar and one at Wardha Road.

Common Observations -

1. Rate in Pune is 56 Rs. KG
2. Rate at Aurganbad is 67 Rs/KG
3. Rate at Nagpur is 79 Rs. /KG
4. Only BPCL Pumps have CNG avaiability - so if you are looking for CNG stations - look at only BPCL pumps only.
5. People after Ahmadnagar are confused with LPG and CNG and they will guide you to the LPG Stations when you ask them CNG - I spent lot of time in locating the stations
6. Google Map does not help in this.
7. We could locate many BPCL pumps installing gas outlet - so may be in next 2-3 months - avaialbility of CNG till Aurangabad may not be the issue.
8. But after Aurangabad till Wadi Nagpur - you have to rely on Petrol only.
9. Common issue after you leave Pune - is that there is no pressure at CNG stations - so the cylinder does not get filled completely - so the mileagae you get after you fill CNG outside pune is pathetic.

Good info. I see CNG demand picking up with the current rise in fuel prices.
