Re: Bangalore gets AI-powered adaptive traffic control system to ease congestion

Any system that is put in place always has issues be it iPhone or traffic regulations or even the transition from the old registration format to the new RTO based registration & takes time to stabilize until then there're always teething issues.

Re: Bangalore gets AI-powered adaptive traffic control system to ease congestion

Three months since the new AI-powered adaptive traffic control system came up, it remains deterministic, is a safety risk to pedestrians (10 seconds to cross a road), waiting times for pedestrians is high, and vehicles have to keep their engine on since there is no timer for vehicles.

The deployment of the system has benefitted somebody, but certainly not pedestrians or drivers.
