Seems like the 'Mumbai Mirror' effect where in the newspaper claims that the authorities took notice of something only after it got published and hence corrective action was taken.

Either somebody at TBHP works at ITPL and has reported the erroneous sign or (more likely) the security guard who watched me keenly as I took the picture(s) has notified somebody.

Publishing on almost any Internet forum will have a similar effect.

In quality, it doesn't qualify as a joke, but both me and wifey had a laugh in a Thai restaurant in Malaysia, where they say "thank you" as "Teri Ma Ka ..."

We wondered in Bhajji was thanking Symonds ...

I saw the below

poster on a mini-bus on the Vellore - Chennai NH.

How do you stick a bell on a wall? Pics of Quirky Signs-whatnoise.jpg

It is written in tamil.

One of the babies is turning back and is asking "What sound ? " or "What is this noise?", as if in response to the sound of the horn from the vehicle following this mini-bus
