That, along with stupid & uneducated drivers who drive rashly at high speeds.

My house is next to a school and from what i see every morning, you'd wonder how this kinda thing doesnt happen more often.

I think you r right
but parents also hav 2 more careful while choosing a School Van. Even if this means spending somewhat more on hiring a roadworthy vehicle for kids.

That van should be going straight to the mortuary (for vehicles).

did this incident happen on a bridge ???? Really lucky that the vehicle didnt hit the railing. Had it been in a bit more speed, the magnitude of the accident might have been horrible. I agree with sandhurs1. Parents should lookout for the vehicles in which their children are commuting in. Many a times these van owners take things for granted and just ignore the servicing and repairs.

These drivers does not even learn when to drive fast and when not to. With school children in the vehicle, it should not cross 40~50kmph for safety of the children inside. Hope the driver was not drunk as many a times, it so happens that driven will be drunk or hangover from previous night's.....These kind of droivers should be heavily penalized / there licence should be suspended.

I have seen a lot of Vans been driven very rashly in bangalore too; they dont have any sense of driving. In blind turns they move at 40-50 kmph...I just hope they get some training before they get their license to aviod mishaps specially with children sitting in the Van.

If the owner of the car drives such a vehicle,he should be thrashed in public! Putting so many innocent lives at risk!
