Machines on the street!!! (Santacruz beach in USA)

These are some which I noticed during my visit to Santacruz beach in USA, CA.

Mini-Cooper showroom. The new model, notice the rear doors. Its 2 door like the ones in our house

Capitol MALL. This is a Jaguar kept on display in the mall. I was very curious when I saw that there was no gear stick in the car!!! There was buttons for gear shifts I guess.

Damn, those are some sweet machines (Bikes). Love the cooper too. Do you have exterior pics of the gearless jag?? Would love to see how it looks

Ive seen this on Top Gear. Its pretty cool but is a little compliacted. Its the jog dial in the middle that takes the place of the knob. And I believe it has a floppy-paddle gear shifter.

I took, but it did not come properly. So deleted it.
OT: I sometime get pickers taken like with shaken camera. Only sometimes.

The Jag is probably a paddle shift (can't tell from the pic) - has small paddles behind the steering wheel. They usually have separate paddles for both upshift and downshift on both sides of the steering wheel (four paddles in all).

Well the roundel you see in the centre console right below the Starter button rises up in the air when you switch the car on. That is what controls the gears & of course you also have the flappy pedals behind the steering wheel.

Those are SOME machines. Specially love the Porsche in the first post. Am not too sure on the model though..is it a 356?? Can somebody confirm?

Is that Acura NSX ? Nice machines. IIRC, the Porsche is 356, was there in NFS game.
