This is really shocking and outrageous!. My sympathies to you and i hope you get some help from Insurance to fix the cars and home. It could have been worse.Nevertheless, inexcusable. Good luck!.

Tell the cops to give the madman a sound thrashing when he gets sober!!!

My sympathies with you. Let me know if you need any kind of help of deal with insurance surveyors, cops or paintshop guys.

Scout chor bazaar for bumpers, will be cheaper than new ones and then you just need to repaint them.

Seeing the burn marks on yuor bumper though, i feel that your local bodyrepairs guy can fill it with "lampi" and paint the whole bumper body coloured. Fully doing up the bumpers shouldn't cost you more than 2500 for both bumpers per car.

PM me if you want my tin-paint work guy's number. He's really good.

A car burning down because of a senseless madman in the safety of a society.

I hope that insurance covers this and your car is back to its original state. Take it easy mate

Check out late night Teleshopping (TeleBrands?!!) on various channels. Often they show a product that can restore any paintwork to its original form. In that long running promo they set a car's bonnet (corvette, if I recollect correctly) on fire. Afterwards the bonnet has dull ugly look with yellow colored stain marks. They apply this liquid and use a soft sponge type thing to rub it off in circular motion and the bonnet comes back to its original shiny look.

Maybe you need something of that sort?!

I never thought these things work and stopped watching the promos long time back. Can people share if they had a good experience with such products.

This is sad, but I'm glad no one was hurt in this whole madman saga.

Please get a complete inspection done of the cars before you decide to start work on anything. The window rubber beadings extend outside and could be damaged too. Best is to get insurance cover and get both cars back to original form.

P.S. - Are the Tyres OK ?

WHAT THE HELL???! I would have been a murderer by now... but then thank god, it is what it is, nothing more. IMHO, a repaint is needed - no expert I am, though.
