one would like to believe that most people do this - a tip of 8-10% to a home delivery guy is the decent thing to do.

yes - you're right. It was a funny ad - but when the message is taken absolutely literally by people (as no doubt many people do), it is incorrect and stupid.

We had Paresh Rawal trying to get a free Pizza by asking for delivery during heavy downpour, etc. So the delivery guy gets delayed and he gets the Pizza for free??

Stupid ad and the message was incorrect. And to top it they give a disclaimer.
before we yell at someone who is less fortunate than we are, lets just take a moment to think - if he/ she had been the given the opportunities that some of us have, he/ she would be on the other side and quite possibly yelling at us! if we take a moment to think before yelling, many of us will stop ourselves in time!

I've seen many of my colleagues abuse this offer without realizing that they too are contributing to this rash driving. Though, the delivery people are not penalized in terms of money, there're always that fear of being yelled at for not delivering with in 30 mins (this isn’t made up. I found this when I spoke to these delivery people, especially Dominos)

As per my observations the below lot are primarily responsible for rash driving in Mumbai. It might be the same in other cities too

What I mean by rash driving is excessive speeding, lane cutting, signal jumping, not following common road rules.

1) Autowallas
2) Call center cabbies
3) Pizza/other delivery men
4) Best buses
6) ST buses
7) Construction dumper trucks
8) Garbage trucks
9) Teenage drivers of both cars and bikes
10) Roadside mechanics testing their repaired vehicles
11) Demo cars

Types of private vehicles in serial order
1) Modified Yamaha RX100
2) Modified Lancers/Swift/ any car with that loud tin can exhaust
3) Pulsars of almost all makes
4) Yamaha FZ16/Fazers
5) TVS apache and its subtypes
6) Maruti Omni. (Sounds strange as to why this extremely unsafe vehicle is driven rash!!!)

Please add on to this
