hi guys!! can anyone tell me what is this location. been dying to drive there ever since i saw it on the road transport ministry's website.
Moderators, i couldnt find a similar thread after searching. please put my post in appropriate thread if already existing.
WOW doesn't even look like india ( read road ) unless for the swift.

but youll be surprised that there are some such roads in north and maharashtra too. in fact the yellow colour of the road ends suggests it may be somewhere in maharashtra. any views?
Only thing which comes to my mind is pune - mumbai expressway, else this might have gone through a computer.

no Jmaruru. its definitely not the Eway.
As far as I can guess, this is the NH 4 to Bangalore. There are so many beautiful scenaries like this, once you cross Kolhapur. Difficult to pinpoint where exactly this pic was taken!

i think you are right though ive never crossed kolhapur on the Blore road.
I am damn sure.. it is Katraj Bypass near Pune ... the road leading to new Katraj Tunnel.

It is the same road - GoI pic is of the swift on the same road where sushanthr5 has taken his pic. Note the color of the flyover embankment walls!

in the GoI pic, it looks like the swift is below the bridge level, where as actually it is the same road.

This is very much the viaduct on the Katraj bypass.
SX4LOVER, note the road in the photo posted by sushantr5.
Driven on this road. Its a dream run. This viaduct is followed by a 1+ km long tunnel. The road bypasses the Katraj ghat completely. Marvelous piece of engineering here...
