For Hyderabadis: crashed car

Was in Hyd on Fri. Got out of the airport and took a left on SD Road (is it SP road?) towards Secunderabad. 0.5 KM from the turn, there was a crashed car halfway on the foot path. Bright Green color and heavily modded. Car was totalled - front, back, roof all gone. Couldnt even figure out what car it might have been, maybe a Lancer. Got only a few seconds look and could not take pics.

Looked like a night street race gone wrong. Felt bad for the guy, although the passenger compartment was not heavily damaged. Hopefully the folks in the car did not get hurt bad.

Hyd BHPians: any more info?

it was a modded honda city,had sparco seats and all.

accident happened opp varun motors near hps school.

car had flipped was lying beside the road.

currently near the police station near the astro turf.

dunno how the accident occured,every thing abt it is hush hush. yet to hear any stories abt it.

Yes..Saw it yesterday on SP Road Police Station...dunno what happened...
Hoped the drivers + passengers are OK...
Looked pretty bashed up...Maybe the owner was doing a drunken driving show off ??

yes ur right about the accident at varun motors tugged to begumpet police station, and anyway these sort of accidents in hyd are very common due to ur congested roads and 90% drivers lack trafiic sense not following proper traffic lane rules specially autos and buses and also some car drivers who try to speed on the ever crowed roads and also try to get into the middle lanes instead of the extreme right lane meant for 4 wheelers
