Has Audi India launched the A8 L 4.2 V8 TDI?

Saw an A8 (swb) being tested at Worli in the morning. Not sure what engine spec it was as there was no badging on the right side!

The W12 in the pic belongs to Audi India, its used to ferry around people from the company all the time. A white 3.0 TDI with multispoke rims belongs to the boss of Mumbai West.

Black A8's (yellow plates, non LED Headlights) are used by the Oberoi, recently purchased.

Saw this Audi A8 W12 in Bangalore. Had PY registration plates.

Audi A8 Launched

Engine : 4.2 TDI
Power : 350 BHP
Torque : 800 NM

Priced at 1.075 Crores (Ex. Showroom Maharashtra)

The engine is mated to an 8-speed sequential automatic gearbox delivering power to all four wheels via the quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The 4.2 TDI Audi A8L can do a 100 km/h sprint in 5.5 seconds while providing a fuel economy of 13.1 kmpl. This power monstrosity is electronically limited to 250kph.

Also Q7 will be locally assembled by end of 2012. A8, due to its Aluminium construction will continue to be imported.
