Pagani Huayra in India? Nope. Went onwards to Hong Kong!

A cream colored RHD Huayra has landed in Mumbai. I have pics, but will post only after confirming.

I told those guys to purposely put up a teaser. Don't want a repetition of the Zonda episode

You say you have pics but will post after confirming. Whats there to confirm unless you have serious doubts that the pics are fake. In that case better to wait a while and start the thread later no?

+1

Everything is confirmed now. It's bought by someone in India. Had it been brought on carnet, you wouldn't have seen plastic wrapping on the bumpers. Moreover, there's no registration plate on the car.

I really feel we start such threads only with pics which confirms the cars presence in India. This may indeed be true but we have had way too many threads which have been started with just speculations and rumors.

The price tag must be somewhat close to that of a Veyron -- after the government has taken a piece of the pie and all, no?

The Zonda and SLR pics were also similarly upclose and shot in a closed garage sort of a place. Please share some pics which could prove that the car is indeed in the country.

I agree with you. These pics were sent by someone working at the Airport. In fact, the person who sent me doesn't even know it's called the Huayra. There is no chance of the pics being fake.

This is a cargo aircraft, which implies the so called person who bought it has opted for air frieghting the car.

These sort of pictures really dont show much and dont help to settle speculation of the car being in India or not. Pictures showing the surrounding of the airport or other pics giving indication of it being India would clear doubts.

Rosso Corsa i still dont see plastic wrapping on the bumpers, Its the tape to hold the side panel protection sheet. but just to clarify even cars coming on carnet the owners have protective sheeting put on them for protection. A company car and a new one has a white protective sheet around the car, which is removed during PDI and polishing. This car lacks it or maybe what is seen is the protective sheet and her actual color is below.
