- With all the weight saving going on its was good to see new cockpit layout supportting Apple CarPlay & iPhone Apps.
- "MagneRide", Electromagnetic damper control available as an optional extra.
- Has a big fuel tank capacity of 83L.
- The Huracan Performante weighs 1382 kgs (Dry)
- Weight Distribution front and rear is 43/57 %.

As always, awesome review buddy. Big cheers to crew behind the camera as well.

A constructive criticism, maybe up the graphics game a bit, the airflow part . I can see the quality of the review, the technical part, improving with every video.

Hats off Karan, now that's a drool worthy car. Great theory class - but where is the practical driving session Would love to have seen you drive the beast.

Questions:

Are they selling a Left Hand drive version in India? Is it allowed?

What is KKC?

This was one of their pre production prototype and is in India through Carnet. The Indian version will be RHD. Totally as of now 6 units allotted for India & all sold out apparently.

Thanks maddy, well there's still time before i flaunt my cheque book inside a Lamborghini showroom

no i did not, but still to answer your question the Huracan Performante with all its power, 7 speed gearbox and being lightweight the official FE quoted by Lamborghini under normal driving is a healthy 9.7 km/l, but when going all out it will drop to about under 5 km/l.

Re: Video: My take on the Lamborghini Huracán Performante

Hey, nice job Karan561 and Gautam (who incidentally is also a BHPian)!

To be honest, I was a bit unsure if "Forged Composites" is actually a big step ahead, or just smart marketing.

While I did do some research, I couldn't find too many details of the structural production uses yet. Guess it has potential, but I'm still unsure about the current status.

Some links I came across:
1) http://www.caranddriver.com/features...ech-department
2) https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/l...process/#/1-13
3) https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/si...posites_EN.pdf

Also, for some reason the format of this video reminded me of this one from Chris Harris:

I believe the below mentioned link gives quite an in depth explanation on Forged Composites®.

https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/br...ged-composites

Forged Composites® has been developed in cooperation with ACSL in Seattle and using trademark registered from Callaway Golf Company. It is the lightest and strongest composite material ever used by Lamborghini. Encompassing chopped fibers embedded in a matrix of resins, this revolutionary material features an incredible high threshold for withstanding the extreme forces encountered by Lamborghini super sports cars. This is the first time carbon fiber offers flexibility in shaping complex geometries and shapes required in the complex design of Lamborghini Super Sports cars.

Carbon fiber involves high production costs, is time-consuming and labor-intensive to manufacture in large volumes: Forged Composites® solved many of these problems.
It is extremely light, can be shaped to almost any form, does not rust and can absorb a lot of energy in a collision.

Can sum up the above from the training we just received at the Huracan Performante Dynamic Drive event held at Imola a couple of weeks ago.

Hope this helps.

Karan - This review has the lowest response here compared to any of your others.
Moral of the story - Unless they hand you the keys to drive, don't do a review And if they hand you the keys of this please invite me as guest reviewer

Well, i agree as this car was here through Carnet and was LHD no test drive was available. I believe the media drives happened a month after @ Imola, Italy.
