I think this is the first time such an event has been held in India. And there are a lot of Porsche's in India now especially Cayennes, Delhi's chock-a-block with them! I think Mumbai already has a showroom & they are scouting for a site in Delhi ever since the Delhi dealer took up the Lamborghini dealership.

Thanks guys!

Hey guys! The pictures werent much in quantity but thanks for the comments.

1) Shreyas Motors is the designated dealer for porsche in india, they also have their dealership in delhi besides starting with mumbai. They have also started a BMW dealership in pune.

2) I have lost count on the cayennes, However roughly there are around a dozen 911s (including 996s), roughly around 7 boxsters & 4 caymans in mumbai alone as far as i know.

The porsche showroom will shortly be opening in town, below the peddar road bridge next the the existing maruti showroom (below the school & the same place an old car showroom use to be). Service centre will also be located there.

Any thing else ?

Where is this dealership in Delhi that you talk about? Because I'm not aware of a new one opening after the removal of Exclusive Motors.

Oh how I wish I could afford one of them Porsche's but alas!!! I would love to own one but not yet or any time soon!!

I was simply asking because then I would go & have a poke around the place & as far as I knew they didn't have a proper showroom. So thanks for clearing that up for me.

had been there too..
was actually in lonanvala for a day or two n while heading to amby valley happened to see the event...
tried to get in but was not allowed
so i had to pull some strings and i guess me travelling in my blue silver defender also helped......was there on tuesday morning by the way..
just went in and left cause i was really dressed inappropriately...in tracks and a ganji......and everyone else was soo formally dressed..
loved the yellow one with black wheels...the cayennes were parked in the distance so couldnt get much of a look.....was there for barely 7 minutes....
by the way when i entered half the crowd got out of the venue to check out my ride
this is me and my ride just before i entered

If there was only one black Cayenne turbo, then it belongs to my friend. They have promised him delivery 10 days after the show. He could not go 'cos he was tied up with work. I've already asked his permission for photographs so maybe i'll be able to post them in about 2 weeks.
Madurai gets its first super car!!!! I will get to drive it soon as it comes too!!!
