Guys, this might be off topic and mentioned before (atleast I did not see anything so far) but I was just viewing Pete's site today and noted the very familiar 6 series and relaized this belongs to the Hotelier. Did not know he modified the already powerfull 6 series..pretty good.

Saw 4 brand new bmw' 5 series' in calicut today. No wonder, as per latest statistics 22 of 50 bmw's sold last month found their home in malabar region. They are even opening an outlet in calicut for bmw upon public demand.

There was a talk on other forums of the big 3 opening their dealerships in trivandrum /calicut. I know for a fact that MBIL is almost done with the construction on their trivandrum showroom. Not sure about BMW/ Audi.

I thought I saw the MB showroom in TVM open, all lit up with 2 E classes or so.

The mods were completed a long time ago. Got a few pictures. Will upload them soon.

BMW is also in the process of opening showrooms at Tvm @ Calicut. The works have already started and expect them to be open in a few months time.

Talking about new showrooms, JLR has finally moved to it's new showroom near vytilla. The showroom does look classy.

Since BMW got its dealership in Cochin, they have had plans for Calicut and Trivandrum SRs too. I, being in the business, have had several talks with BMW Kochi management regarding some sites in Tvm. But the most suitable plot was for sale and the landlord refused to rent/lease it out and hence the deal fell apart. They later informed that setting up the Calicut SR will be the first priority due to the high concentration of customers in the Malabar region. Glad to see some action lately in the capital city atlast!

In all likelyhood, that's probably the case. Just hope that it indeed is the R8 (is it the same one as shown in Pete's site?)

The red VF-supercharged R8 is in Hyderabad, and not in Kerala.

Confirmed by one more friend,he too spotted yesterday ,its a red Audi R8 Spyder

I was also suspecting it to be red Audi TT but he said it has black soft top and he can very well differentiate an R8 and TT

.If i ask him again to confirm he will become furious
