At the crack of dawn on the 26th of January 2020, when various parts of the country witnessed parades, military displays and more, Mumbai witnessed a parade of a different kind, as a slew of supercars and exotics hit the streets.
Bringing traffic and people to a halt - the point of congregation was in Bandra-Kurla Complex. Cars after cars, of different types, body styles drove into the venue. And it was a sight to behold!
The event, organised by Throttle97, saw a wide range of cars, from four door sedans and wagons to thorough bred exotics and super SUVs all lining up together for a memorable Republic Day morning.
Driving alongside some of the finest automotive gems in the country in the 6.2L naturally aspirated monster was an experience of a lifetime!
A ceremonial hoisting of the Indian Tricolor, followed by breakfast marked the conclusion of a rather lovely morning.
Naturally so, clicked quite a lot of photos, and attaching some of the best ones down below for everyones viewing.
The Quattro monsters!
Audi RS7 Performance
There is something about a first gen Audi R8 V8!
The mental RS6 Avant!
The Bimmer Boys!
BMW F10 M5, finished in a BMW Individual shade of Champagne Quartz Metallic. Probably the only one of its kind in the country in this shade, the color plays under different lighting conditions.
Newly delivered M2 Competition.
F90 M5 in a lovely spec!
Generation gap, quite literally!
The Maranello Monsters!
Garagemate Goals - the GTC4Lusso and 488GTB.
The CaliforniaT, originally Grigio Silverstone, now wrapped to Yellow, at its last public outing before being sold down South.
The 488 'Track'!
The lovely Portofino made an appearance as well!
Tuned (and more importantly, a non red) Ferrari 488 GTB
With the super epic GT2RS!
The Raging Bulls!
Two Lamborghini Huracans - or not? lol:
The super exclusive Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale!
The runaway success of the previous year - Urus!
@Rman.. great pictures like always..
The car that i miss here is a E60 M5 & probably v12's from the Mercedes stable ;-)
Beautiful Pictures Rman. Would have been a great experience attending this 'Parade' with so many exotics at the same place. Surprisingly no Aventador !
Cheers,
Pawan
That's a great turn up of cars from a cute Miata to BMW M5s and lamborghinis. The pictures are amazingcpics:.
I see a Nissan 300Zx hiding behind the shappire blue 991.1. C2S and a Grey Mustang. I think this is the same 300Zx in this pic, when I went for a morning ride last year to horniman circle:).
Must say! beautiful pictures of such stunning machines.
I am drooling over just by a look, like a kid in a icecream factory not sure what somebody would do when you see them all at one place lol:
Great pictures Rman, did I miss to notice the Mustang?
Glad to see a supra amongst the supercars and their siblings. Not many tuned ones in the country as far as i know.
Breathtaking pictures & your infatuation for GT2RS is so so evident, and it should be.
No GS cars or his F-Speciale??
I love Q8, in that shade, and its my impression with her. Also nice to see that crowds are not misbehaving with cars & no BOUNCERS spoiling wide-eyed people.
Seems like a smooth drive day.
Regards-SS
