A complete stunner, the Ferrari F8 Tributo. What a beauty indeed with that gorgeous design and fancy interiors.
A lot of design cues from older Ferraris too.

Few F8’s landing over the next few months for their respective new homes. Infact 3 of them already in India as we speak.
Great to see the Italians finally taking the Indian Market seriously.

What a beauty!
Those flowing lines are poetry in motion.

I always wondered: Who buys such costly beauties in India? And more importantly where do they drive?
I remember how my brand new Wagon-R was nicked by a dude on a bicycle!
Imagine that happening to a Ferrari!

Not too sure about the design, but hey maybe it will grow on me like the 458 did. One thing for sure that dashboard layout has been around for way too long and should have been dumped a while ago. For some reason I thought this one had soft touch buttons on the steering.

Gorgeous machine, thanks for sharing these pics! Contrary to popular opinion, I never quite liked the 458's design nor, for that matter, any Ferrari's styling from that time. Am glad they are getting the house back in order. I fell in love with the 488's lines and find the F8 Tributo very appealing too.

700 horses .

Re: Ferrari F8 Tributo launched in India @ Rs 4 crores

What a nice looking car!
It looks all new but it's basically a heavily facelifted 488, which in turn was a heavily facelifted 458. Ferrari normally changes their platform every 2 generations. The 360 and F430 had the same platform. Then they got an all new one for the 458. Don't know why they stuck with the same platform here. It looks very different, so they did do a good job!

The price makes me wanna cry though
I would much rather get a used F430/458 one day. 2 benefits = Way cheaper + naturally aspirated. These new turbos are great for power but nothing beats a naturally aspirated Ferrari

Ferrari F8 Tributo launched in India @ Rs 4 crores

Loved the gorgeous looks with the clean lines. Great to look at from any angle. Particularly, like the rear 3 quarter look.

Still not the fastest Ferrari around the Fiarano track.
The lap time of 1:22:5 is still slower than the Enzo from 2003,1:22: 30

Here is the Enzo.

The track times around Fiarano for the road cars.

The track record is with Michael Schumacher at 0:55:99 in his F 2004.

That's incorrect.

The Enzo, while an unbelievably incredible sensory experience, is about as fast as a 458 Italia. I can support this two different ways:
  • I have an Enzo and used to have a 458 Italia, in which I did over 10,000 km. Therefore, I can rely on my butt dyno.
  • Ferrari's brochures for the two cars (see attachments). Enzo = 1'25"30 and the 458 = 1'25"00.
Wherever you got those times from have their data mixed up.

Now, regarding Fiorano lap times, there are two things I've realized.

First, when used in Ferrari's marketing material for their production cars, the times evolve exactly as Ferrari would like them to. In other words, if Ferrari wants a new car to be faster at Fiorano than an older car, that's how it will be. If Ferrari wants a new car to be slower than a not-too-old halo car, that's also how it will be. The numbers won't necessarily be too far from the truth, but they won't upset the proverbial apple cart. There is no way for anyone outside of Ferrari to prove or disprove this, so it works out for everybody. It's not a big deal.

Second, like I also noted above, the lap times aren't completely bogus. Based on the specific cars I have personally driven at Fiorano, I could tell that the delta between my times and Ferrari's "best" times for those cars was consistently in line with what I would expect.

How about an ownership review (or anything really) one of these days?

How come the 458 Italia was sold?

Are you a member of Ferrari Corse Clienti by any chance? Or do they let every customer in Europe drive their car around the Maranello test track?

The knowledge on this forum repeatedly amazes me! (Whether it's furniture, the stock market or Ferrari's) thank you for sharing

There are businessmen and celebrities who have 4 Cr change lying around their house!

Ferraris are not bought to be driven around on public roads in India. They are more of prized possessions which adorn already well decorated garages, and go out mainly for supercar shows and rarely on a track day.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one of its new homes would be Bren Garage in Bangalore.

Car’s front reminds me of the 720s - sorry but it’s only to my eyes mostly because it’s sleek but kind of reminiscent to that of 720 in a weird way
