Let's leave it guys . It was the owner's choice of rims . Someone likes it and someone doesn't ! We should get back to spotting more exotics

IMO, it doesn't suit the car especially not silver color.
Nope, the OE rims of the X Drive 50 are slightly different. They have a propeller like curves in the stem endings(near the outer lips) and the center portion dont have such defined bolt sockets. So that has to be something else.

I too am not a great fan of Chrome or Bling, but IMHO. That ain't a disaster too. Looks Fair, from a distance of course !!

@malhotra- If it was a blue 4 door and dark tints then it could be the E36 with a fake M3 badge. I have yet to come across a 4 door E36 M3 EVO in India.

I don't know that much man . I'm really poor at this . Like it was an E36 or 46 or 92 . I just know it was an old generation M3 .

I did heard about a M3 4 door in Bombay a long way back. May be Speedy(forum member) can shed some light on it.

@Malhotra- How would you distinguish a fake M3 from a real one?

I think it's the one which some one from delhi did a make over to it, owner is or was if he has sold it a member on this forum. It has a DL registration and was in the classified section a while ago.

Yanks got the 4door M3 Evo only in 1995 even that was a detuned version of S50B30. European got their M3 way back in 1992 only in LHD upto 1995 then came the M3 EVO with S50B32 which had the RHD version in 4 door as well as a coupe with SMG gear box as a option in 1997.

@Bose- E36 M3 EVO did came in a limited edition as well. It's known as M3 EVO Individual only 50 ever produced for UK. Speciality of that model was a Imola Red color and side splitter on the front bumper with M3 GT spec rear spoiler. Never cam in a 4door though.

Dude its as fake M3 . NO DISC BRAKES AT REAR Look at the rear bumper, On a real M3 bumper it overhangs a bit downwards near the tyre. Look at the after market rear diffuser on the rear bumper its fake. And no rear spoiler ? No M3 door moulding, its the standard one. By the way its a 316i.

I am pretty sure it is the same e36 that was for sale here by forum member 'Varun'.
He did a good job on it, but its certainly no M3
