Pic: Mercedes Sprinter

Mercedes Sprinter is the latest version of the Traveller van which was build here by Bajaj Tempo (now Force)..Its a very comfortable & safe van to carry 15 to 21 passengers..So many 5-star Hotel all over the world uses Sprinter to carry their guest..Now in India too certain Hotel started to use it..and one among them is Leela Group, one its director is my neighbour & hes very happy with the perormance of the van..Here is the snaps of their vans:

A human Godess from Kerala too use a Sprinter with fully furnished interiors & chemical toilets...

Its too top heavy ain't it? How is the driving experience and what are the engine/tranny options?

It may be heavy..but the much more heavier Actros truck is the easiest vehilce I've ever driven..It'll be the same in the case of Sprinter too..

If i am rite then they also have a low roof version also

we have 2-3 of these in chandigarh and all are privately owned and PB registered and all the no. are of villages

by this i guess that all are owned by NIR families

yes its a comfortable people mover, available in low roof version too.

Once hired it for taxi in germany, real comfortable ride & very impressive pickup(felt it while driver was making an entry into autobahn)

comparable vehicle is ford transit, i have driven one. we borrowed it from our employer for a weekend getaway to nederlands.

Probbaly the only Sprinter to be used as an ambulance, right?
(OT- the van's pretty close to the Merc!)

Thats is a Last Gen S Class from the looks of it..
And there are quite a few of these vans in bombay

Do you ment Spinter ambulance? I've seen few Sprinters as taxi in Mumbai, one of them was Hotel Leela's guest vehicle.
