Did it have a Mumbai No.? looks like Jackie's transam. didnt only the V8's have twin exhausts? in those times?

Jackie's is black (& white strips) one, am i right scooby? i had seen that car whilst it was being restored by Davis, some 4-5 years ago

Jackies is currently white and with a dealer at Andheri, Classic Cars (i think his name is Mr Vinod Tandon) its up for grabs, wants 10 for it, he also has other american muscle cars with him..bhpians living near about andheri might have spotted Jackie car for sure.

oh yeah...i recollect now...jackie's is white one with a huge sticker on the bonet.

he also had 70's citreon, jaguar, 90's Nissan fairlady....dont know whether he still have them or not

This looks like a Second Gen Trans Am(1970-81). The tyres are odd. IMHO these are mismatched for the car (sorry Ishan for treading on your turf

). Shes shod with Pirelli Scorpions, essentially only a SUV tyre. Thats why you see the huge profiles. Also they look too big for the car due to their high profiles.
I agree with Scooby on the dual exhaust bit. It never came with dual exhausts, so obviously its an aftermarket job
And No its not Jackie's car as his cars got a T-Top.
Someones gotta fix this thing, put the right rims and tyres (lows the way to go) and fix the exhaust, maybe put chrome tips to look the part. VROOOOMM!!

She weighs a ton and goes like stink.
I know about the owner who's quite prominent in the car collectors' circle.
IIRC, she's up for grabs...and not many seem interested(includes me

Why i never to get such exotics inspite of staying in Chennai is the big question.

The car in Chennai has proper OE rims and genuine Good year Muscle car tyres which must be real old since the font style was different.

I've also seen a Dodge Charger and '67 Ford Mustang in chennai.

According to a friend of mine who's an Olds fanatic, this is a 1966 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 sedan - remarkable that it still has what looks like the original hubcaps.
