I think Delhi has the most number of Bentleys in India, partly due to the fact that it has a dealership there.

This is a shock coming from someone as senior and knowledgeable as Akshay. Here's a link to clear your doubts.

BMW 7 Series Sedan : Technical data

I was so confident because i keep seeing a new 740Li everyday near my college

Nope, false and false. Most number of bentley's are in Pune and Hyd I believe. No dealership. Just an authorized importer.

You may be right actually. But the problem in Hyd atleast is that the exotics there are not as frequently driven as we car lovers would have liked. Not too sure about Pune though,Havent seen a lot of Bentley pics in the Pune thread atleast.

The new 740Li. Brilliant piece of automotive engineering. And I know exactly why Shamik is so confident about it's existence (And I'm sure it's not only because it's spotted by him quite often )

Heh heh! Quite right! Anyway, quite a nice car. I'd take it over the Mercedes Benz S63 AMG!

thanks. *blushes* haha. if you see my post just before that i cleared it up. if i remember correctly at the time of launch i remember being told that only the 750li and the 730ld would be sold here. i worded that post wrong. if theyve started selling the 740li in india then its great since there is even more variety now. but ive only seen 730lds, 750lis and 760lis in mumbai. not even one new gen 740li.

hey but anyone can make a mistake.

youd take the 740li or the 760li over the s63?

The Beemer they showcased was the 760Li. And to be fair to the Merc, I wish it was the S65 they'd tested. My guess is it would've thrashed the Beemer in the drag race.
