Pondicherry was the only thing i could guess, coz punjab cars have a PB on their plates.

But i still wonder if a guy buys a R8 why would he be bothered about paying less taxes ?

The wheels look like the ones on the Virage . Is this a Volante by any chance ?

Yes your right. The day I managed the picture I saw it was a convertible. So yup it is a virage volante!

Today I saw a Ferrari 512 S @ bengali market near CP. It was being driven by a driver

(lucky bugger) and he was being very cautious to park it around the market.

The car looked hugeee, delighted to spot it though was unable to click as was in a tight spot while drive passing it.

It may be the first time its been clicked.But its not the only one in India. Apart from the black virage volante I spotted, I've seen a white one with a black roof on 'super cars and exotics in new delhi''s facebook page.

Saw the Lexus LS 600 HL at Mohan Co operative today morning.
It was struggling its way through a narrow service lane to enter one of the campus' there.
