Chrysler Viper RT- 10 First Hand

Hi Guys,

Had the privelege of experiencing the Viper SRT-10 in all its glory last night. What a beast, had come down for the Speed Run. Was black in colour LHD and massive.

Car was being dynoed and have managed to take some pics and videos. Shall post them up after the Speed Run.

Wow.

Dippy and me were just talking about this a few days back.
Every year, before the speedrun we hear that "the viper might show up". (actually, this time when dippy said that to me, i said "arrey, viper was always planning to run his car!"

)

This has been happening since about the first speedrun, where it could have so easily been king of the hill. Anyway, glad to see that it looks like its gonna show up this time!
Does it still have the yellow and gray racing stripes?

ps - Might merge this thread with an existing viper thread...searching for it is a bit harder coz i keep getting posts with your ID instead of the car.

Speed run is the place to be period and i think the title should have been Viper Meets Viper

I guess we will continue the discussion in this new thread, given that :

1. The viper has a "new" owner. (ie. not Rajiv Shah anymore)
2. Theres a lot of other news about this car + modifications + speedrun setup

@Rehaan: Jiggy says that its an SRT 10. Was the earlier one an SRT too or an RT 10? If not this could be a differnt one

In the relevant thread posted above it says that the car is green. So it probably is a different one.

Oops....didnt even notice that.

However, (even though i didnt confirm), im pretty sure Jiggy is talking about the RT-10. A 1996 model if i had to guess ?

Probably just due to bad print quality in one of those old BS motorings where V12 saw the pic for the first time

Rajiv Shahs (ex)viper is black, as shown in pics in that that thread.

As far as i know, there is only 1 confirmed dodge viper in india, despite hearing many stories - one of which being a Blue GTS owned by a spiritual leader, sometimes parked at his house in kodaikanal.
