Yes it indeed the same guy bivin, who also brought his R15 in a truck.
He owns a whole batch of exotics.

porsche is opening a showroom in chennai, it will be coming up in and around mount road! should be open the next 2 or 3 months!

just curious, so how have the Porsche owners in chennai getting their cars serviced till now?? from the Bangalore showroom??

@bivin: obviously not! the service guys from bombay or delhi fly down to chennai for service.

They get it done at the Benz service centre in Ambattur. Porsche flies the mechanics down.
Thats where the rolls also gets serviced.

@arjun: i doubt its the merc service, as far as i have heard they service porsches at maya motors, could be wrong, but i am sure its not trans cars.

MAya Motors does it for volvo and I know one person in maya motors who said that the porsche's were serviced by at the merc service centre.

@arjun: AFAIK they do not service porsches, plus i havent seen any pokers there,only phantoms.

Is the Tourag a TD car seems to be a guy with a tie (whilst rest are casual) is sitting behind plate is missing etc Looks like a showroom car

There's this service centre in Ambattur Indl. Estate which Porsche HQ rents out for a day or two.
They use the general tools, lift, water wash facilities, etc at the centre.
Some specialist tools and diagnostics are carried down.

Guys, surprised that no one reported it yet... Economic Times carried an article today on Manoj Lulla and his Carrera Turbo (MLCarrera) today in their Madras Plus supplement paper...

LAst night saw a 5 series GT version in white at the Residency Towers. Looked real good in flesh. It was spanking new, no number plates and still had the Garland on !
Will get the picture soon from my cousin .
