Pics: Silver Land Rover Range Rover SE

Land Rover Range Rover SE

I was on my way back from Bandra, when I spotted it. Land Rover Range Rover SE. The car was well maintained and clean. Not sure if its a TD6 or a V8. It was completely stock. It had no carrier, no front guard, stock 18" twinspoke wheels.

i have seen a few of these around in bombay of late, silver seems to be the hot favourite color for this car.

Its a bit sad, those wheels tend to take a bit of class away from the car, in combination with those headlight grills which makes it look a bit dated.

nice car though...

I'm not a big fan of SUVs, but that is a classy car!

Wheels

the wheels are smaller compared to the Black one which has 19" six spoke wheels, these wheels suit the Black Range Rover since it was a fully loaded one.

the 18" twin-spoke wheels on the silver one suits it well because this car doesn't have all the works, thus giving a balanced look.

here is picture I took of the wheel, I didn't sit down to take the pic since I was in a hurry.

here is a quick comparison between the four different wheels avaliable for Land Rover Range Rover

18" five spoke wheels

18" twinspoke wheels

19" six spoke wheels

20" seven spoke wheels

Hey V12,

Thanks for taking the trouble to put the pics up.
I much prefer the look of the six and seven spoke (19"&20") wheels, makes the car look much more classy and modern, unlike the designs above.

ps - another reason i dont really like the wheels on the car is because of the offset.... if you notice the wheels and tires are way into the arches.

2 more white Rangers 4.0 in Mumbai that belong to Amitabh and the British Consulate. Have a pic of the consulate RR. Not very clear though. Will post it in sometime.

Hey Gordon, I'm pretty sure it's the TD6, as only that comes with small wheels as standard, and looks a little higher.
