I am not too big on convertibles. To me, an M3 = Coupe. Great pictures as always, Maverick!

Nice one ! And this ones an SMG too ! Although i'd have preffered seeing it with a different finish on the alloys, quite over this fad of smoked/black alloys IMO.

GTO- The m3 convertible doesn't look much different from the m3 coupe with the hood shut.

Yes. But I prefer the hard top anyday. Looks a lil bare with the roof down.

It seems like there is actually place in the back seats for people to sit. Normally the back seats in most convertibles are just namesake.

Thanks for shareing Maverick. i just love the convertible, it give the best of both worlds. The convertible would feature on my list for sure. Maverick what is the price difference between the 330ci (convertible) and the M3 convertible?. Has anyone ordered the M3 sedan?
I have to agree with Sahil here, the smoked wheels are getting too much now.

In our polluted cities where most of us drive with our windows up and air-con switched on 24x7, I just don't see the lure of the convertible either. There's also the ever-present risk of having some nut puke / spit into your car and mess it up when you pass a bus! :O It adds a couple hundred kilos to the weight as well.

Actually it's an M-DCT, twin clutch 'box just like VW's DSG. I used to think the convertible looked just like the coupe when the roof was up, but there are some subtle differences, for instance no boot lip spoiler (apparently it gets in the way somehow!)

I actually think the vert looks better with the roof down than up, when it's up all those crease lines just ruin the look of the car in my opinion.

E92 M3 has plenty of rear-seat leg-room, it's very usable for four people. The vert won't take four people's luggage if they want the roof down though, but will if it's kept up.

Yes, thanks for the pics Maverick! For some reason BMW does not offer the E92 M3 sedan here. I just don't get the logic, it costs them absolutely nothing.

Have any of the latest M3 or M5's been delivered with manual transmissions or are they all paddle shifters?

6MT is standard on the M3. M-DCT is an option.

No, thankfully just Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tubeless radials, the best tyres that I have ever had on any car of mine (including the Eagle F1 GS-D3).
