Another Chased and Scooped from my side!! The First GTS i have seen on the road. The car is just a month old and the waiting period was four months. also, as the owner pulled over to let me take pictures, i told him that this was the first GTS that i had seen and he was surprised as he siad that i was the first person to refer to the car as a GTS and not "just" a cayenne. He said he wanted to buy the orange one but the waiting period was just too much and he was getting desperate!!

Well, according to the owner, its a month old. And it looked spik and span!! Also, I asked about the Single lights on only on the left side and the owner said it was like a parking light.

Can you shed somelight on this and other GTS's that were sold in mumbai...??

Did you ask him if he took the optional goodies which come with this car. Some 8lakhs or more.

Did you ask him if he took the optional goodies which come with this car. Some 8lakhs or more.

well, I think he has the opton 21 inch wheels over the standard 18 0r 19 or something. I didnt ask him about any other particular upgrades.

I guess the GTS comes with 21-in as standard. The wheels are the same as the Cayenne Turbo.

the 21" rims are standard on the gts.

i think the turbo comes with 19" or 20" rims and the white turbo in the showroom is on gts rims.

Cyrus nice find, but this car had been standing in the showroom for more than 2 months. i have seen it plenty of times but never had the time to take pictures. The wheels for the GTS like pointed out by Akshay1234 is 21" standard and the This are optional for the other models.

i dont think this was in the showroom for that long. it was there for about 2 days i think. theres another red cayenne thats been in the showroom for ever.

I think it was the same one Akshay. It stood with the white Cayenne for a while, then was replaced with another Cayenne and then reappeared. I remembered it as my father had told me The GTS was at the showroom and then i come to Bombay once a month so i had seen it twice.That makes it two months then itself. The car dissapearing could also be the car could have been brought to be displayed at the Delhi showroom, But no point in discussing how many months the car stood with the dealership, point is the car is on the roads and we shall see more of it in action now

Erm, I may be wrong, but considering I stayed at Kemps Corner from mid June till late September, I believe the maroon machine in the showroom was actually a Turbo. I know my Porsches inside out, and for some distinct reason, I remember the one in the showroom being a Turbo.

I distinctly remember the white one being a Turbo and the grey one that came in as a replacement was an S. There was also a red Cayman for about 2-3 days.

Thank you for your kind invitation to the forum.

The GTS is less than 2 months old. Its the only 1 delivered in mumbai as of today.

21inchers are standard on the GTS and not on the turbo (turbo comes with 19 inch as standard for the '09 model)

the Carmon red Cayenne standing in the showroom for a long while was a Cayenne V6 and the colour looks very different from the GTS red.

The red sports car which was in the showroom for 3 days was a Boxster S and not a Cayman S.

Queries solved.
