Today I saw a matt green Mercedes G wagon in Gurgaon. Didnt see the plates. I dint have a camera today but will go back tommorow and take pics

I'm not doubting that its a G Wagon ..... but it simpley looks like a Sumo rebadged!!!

Heres a G-Wagon that used to be parked at the Ambassador's. Yes and thats the Lorinser E Class next to it.
Ur right Gaurav. The G looks like a modded Trax or a Sumo. We spoke to the official mechanic who maintains the G and at first he thought that we didnt know it was a Merc. He went on to tell us that it was a Sumo and he has modified it into a Mercedes. At first we thought chal lets believe what he's saying. Then after he finished we told him that we know it wasnt a Sumo or a Trax and that it was a Mercedes G Wagon. Mercedes' only true off-roader. He was quite taken aback that we recognised it as a Mercedes. He went on to say that everybody who has seen it had enquired about who had modded this Sumo into a Merc. Anyways the G was quite well maintained.
If the Sumo married the TRAX this is what their kid would look like lol:
actually the trax is based on the mercedes g-wagen if i am not mistaken.
if my memory serves me right trax and tempo traveller still run on merc designed engines
ur right aadix. the tempo traveller/trax still uses the Merc-derived OM616 Diesel engine.
Now thats a sight for sore eyes. A true off-roader! I saw another white one on Marine drive the other night but it was poorly maintained and belonged to some hotel (logos all over)

whoa man thats a drastic thing to say eh ? but yea it looks similar. lol. G55 looks much better, looks are just too bland for this car

True. Just showed the pics to my sis, she thought it was a Sumo until she saw the logo. The moment she knew it was a Merc, she went "Yuck, that's a Merc???".

Just downloaded a top gear video featuring the G55 AMG.I was impressed. They call it the collest car in the world and I agree
Dear friend members..Is there any Mercedes Benz G-wagen for sale in your contact?..Its one of my favorite cars & wish to own one if get within my budget..My cousine brother is also intersted buy one..I'm looking for old one so that I can own it in a low price tag..But my brother is a businessman & he can afford a new one too..
