Spotting locations in Mumbai

Hello Everyone,

I will be going to Mumbai next month, and I just wanted to ask where are the best areas to see exotic cars? - I already know that in front of some 5* hotels are good(however could you tell me which ones are the best), and I my self have had some luck around Nariman Point, but where would other places in Mumbai be a good location to catch some exotics? I have heard that areas around Bandra are quite good too. Thanks everyone

Nariman Point is one the the best locations!

Another good location would be Bandra side, Linking road in particular. Another location is Carter Road.

My apartment faces Linking road, so when I stand at the window I get to see around like a MINIMUM of 10 Mercs/BMW's/Audi's/Porsches within 10 minutes.

5 star hotels are a good look out location. Popular night clubs in south Bombay such as Prive, Tote, etc get some sweet wheels over the weekend.

All the above are valid spots generally speaking. Here are a couple more very specific spots:

1. Peddar Road has two petrol pumps - at any point you'll see some fairly exotic vehicles (classics included) standing at these pumps.

2. At the end of Linking Road there's a building with a lane adjoining (on the right side if you're coming from bandra). There are usually lots of imported cars in the building compound as well as the lane.

3. Try and figure out which are the specialist guys who only work on high end imported cars (maintenance, mods / accessories, general servicing etc) - these may be another good place to catch some great cars standing.

If you're coming from Zurich, I'm not sure its worth the effort to stand in a particular place looking out for cars - anything you see in these places is not going to be spectacularly different from your everyday vehicles visible on the roads of Zurich. (unless of course you specifically want to see what a bimmer looks like dodging and overtaking a buffalo) :-)

Tote btw on a weekend is probably the place to see some really neat vehicles. I was there the other day and one section was hosting a pvt party. I saw countless S classes; 2 R. Royce, some 7 series and other sports cars (at one point out of 8 consecutive cars 5 were S classes and 1 seven series).

hehe i know what you are saying, but I just wanted to know the where it would be possible to some decent cars in Mumbai ;-) I go to Mumbai every year, and always do see some enticing cars on the streets, last year, I had seen a Phantom, Porsche GT2(it could have been turbo only saw it from a distance), couple of Bentleys and a Nissan GTR - But this time I will be there for a longer period of time, so I just was curious to know where I could go to see some nice cars since I will have more time to spare this time -

Anyway thanks everyone for your input, I will definitely have a look at these places

well everyone, I am now currently in Mumbai. And I have seen some decent exotics.. mostly only Bentleys, usually around Nariman Point. Can anyone suggest any other places I can go and see cars of such standard? I have heard Bandra, and Worli are worth going around as well. What would you guys suggest?

Thanks
