The Hidden and Unseen Ferrari
Nice day it was pretty laid back and was juz chilling at home when Maverick called me to drop in at Navneet motors to take some snaps of the new BMW M3 but to my hard luck I could’nt take any from my digi as the director of navneet as well as 8 german testers were there so had to satify with some shots using Nokia phone, then started roaming around the workshop saw some real mean machines like
Big B’s BMW 7 Series & Range Rover (totally stripped from inside)
A BMW X5 which owns the badge of the most powerfull BMW X5 in Mumbai
And a BMW 6 series the day was good so far.
Then Maverick took me and ArmourOfGod towards the basement saying
“ Now I’ll show you something that nobody has seen”
( I know it generates a huge curiosity well trust me I had the same feeling )
and then after reaching that dark basement and the dude switched on the Lights and we saw a red dusty but still FERRARI 308 GTO
he told me it is there in the showroom for some 6 years nd no work is going on it. Tell me what’do’ya’ll think should be done to the owner??
Well anyways here are the pics
That’s ArmourOfGod coming out of the Car
This car was also under water in that Mumbai Flood
The Interiors are totally …………….. u know what I mean
The Ferrari badge

mamma miaa !
does it still have an engine ?
painstaking to see such a beauty in such a horrible condition ..
Well that fact regarding 6 years is what was told to me by maverick, but seriously it was smelling bad inside ,and had fungus on the seats . still my friend sat , he was so xited to see a Ferrari he juz couldn’t resist ..
Well ya it still has an engine ,, maverick told me that the car came to the workshop with a seized engine and then never left the vicinity|
perhaps the repair cost was a bit too much for the owner ..
nice find sinner. maybe maverick can shed more light on this car. car parked in the basement, huh? Those water marks on the wall show that the car must have been half submerged during the rains.
Also since this car's been lying there for 6 years it would definitely not be the one thats parked off the Expressway in Panvel.
I wonder what the resale value of a 308 is in South Asia....?
Whoa!! just look at those pics ...I still can't believe that I'm seen a FERRARI in such a Horrid condition!!
Trust me dude lookling at it in person was a total different experiance.
BTW what do u think guys , should be done to the owner of the car who was left the car in such condission forpast 6 years.

Nothing. Its his car. His problems. Atleast he's not left it somewhere else to rot.

What badge ?AC Schnitzer? Alpina?
Look at it from an economical point of view - the 308 was quite troublesome -. The 328 resolved most issues. A servicable one has not much market value as it is a "mass produced one". Restoring this would be totally uneconomical - would be best to sell the parts of it.
Did a Bull-Dozer go on it...its as flat as a pancake..but I have seen worse Ferrari's...but this is the first one in India.
WOW - Thats a fantastic rebuilding project. After spending 4 months on my Jeep, I have got addicted to the process of rebuilding cars.
Superb fine, sinner
GTO
How many 308's are there in Mumbai?! The count is two I guess. I had seen one around six years back, never seen one since.

A jeep is relatively cheaper and simple to rebuild - this thing will take a long time as parts are scarce. If I am right there was one sitting in Mumbai customs for a lonmg time - perhaps this was the one
