How can it be? The photos are of parked car when the ORVMs auto folds.

Did Sachin Tendulkar get a 911 Turbo S? 'Coz I came across this on Instagram.
And is it a 991.2?

Hi Rajeev, it is not parked. It is waiting at a signal. The car can be seen standing in the middle of the road, not on the side. Also, RMan saw him driving the car..

I guess BMW has way too much inventory of the i8 so they keep changing his car

BMW has not been able to sell the initial inventory it imported in 2013 when the car launched. Currently there is a discount of nearly 1cr on the car.

Woah! The lot from 2013?! What were they thinking importing those many! And with a discount of 'nearly 1cr', shouldn't these be selling pretty quickly now? Because it is supposed to be a very good car.

Oh! I was always wondering why nobody gets their i8 wrapped. But they seem to have gone further and painted it! And I kindof like the blue highlights.

I'm pretty sure the i8 was only launched in India in Feb 2015

Worldwide the i8 was only being produced since 2014

Pretty sure there was no "purchase" involved. He's got the car free as he does with all the previous beamers he has had within his tenure as BMW India's brand ambassador.

Eventually, this car too will be put on the block a year or so later as was his ex m6 and several others which are replaced with new models.
