All thanks to the Kropex guys, I got the complete coverage.
As for firing it up, I did ask them for it too, but supposedly the car was not having any fuel and they were not allowed to put in fuel either, so I asked them how they were transporting it. It is supposedly being carried on a flatbed it seems. Wish to see it on the roads atleast once!
Thanks for the Info buddy. You are one lucky chap !

The empty fuel tank story is unbelievable. I don't believe they leave the car infront of the showroom when they close it down last 2 days. Moreover, it maybe transported on a flatbed, but will someone push it on top of a flatbed ? Just excuses dude. The Camaro was driven to the Super-car event in Delhi.

You wished to see it on road, Wish Granted -

Feel like a Genie

Otherwise how will they take the car inside the showroom? They will surely not leave it outside at night!

No. It is still available @ Kropex.
By next week they will be moving it to other dealerships in bangalore and display it for a period of 7~10 days at each dealer locations.
Finally it will be moved to GM office @ ITPL.

Either the lady is mad (no offence) or else she does not know.
A car like that, no matter how good it looks, cannot cost 85 lakhs.
As already stated by Scorchy, the price in the US of A is 12.73 Lakhs (converted to Indian Currency). So if you add the 140% Import duty, and add some more money for the LHD to RHD conversion, you will have a 422-hp 6.2-liter LS3 V8 six-speed manual beast for about 30-32 lakhs. Now tell me something, If GM wants to launch the car here at 85 Lakhs, who will buy it?

The manager at Kropex told me that it will be moved to Trident today.
It is being transported on Flatbed, so don't expect to see it on road.

There were plenty of people who are interested in the Camaro. And when they were told that it costs 60-80 lakhs, (varies according to the dealership personnel's lack of awareness ) many jumped at the prospect as they expected it to be upward of 1 crore! And many refused to believe me and went to the extent of challenging me when I mentioned the actual price of the car in the US and the landed cost here!

So where would it be today? I'd like to check it out!

The import duty is 104% , don't know who told you its 140% and yes , the lady who quoted the 85L price figure may not know what she is saying. But if Chevy were ever to make a RHD Camaro (which they planned to , for the Aussie market, but then flaked out) , then I reckon it'll be priced around the 35 -45L INR mark.

Just call up Kropex and ask them.

Here are the showroom details:
Kropex India Ltd
49/1 Singasandara,
Hosur Main Road,
Bangalore 560068.
Phone: 080-43574357 / 9663388832 / 9663388833
Email: kropex.service@gmidealer.com

Just ask them. The manager there told me surely that it will be moved today. I don't know if they are again making up a story. AFAIK it will be moved today to Trident, if it stays there at Kropex, you are lucky!

OT:
Sorry buddy could not reply to your message, I'm having nil balance on my phone from yesterday night.

Thats exactly what I heard. I am thinking that I may go there again today, just to see it being taken away on a flat bed, the closest to seeing it on road will be fulfilled.

I hope this car tours Chennai next .The GM dealers in Chennai are a pathetic lot so i'm not hopeful. Even their showrooms and displays are like uninspiring and cramped.
Nice car as i remember it from the Delhi Auto Expo.
