Nope, As the info I got from the person who clicked it, it is indeed clicked at PY. The car belongs to a TV Channel and was driven down from Delhi for registration.

Yes, the Cayenne does look battered. Does Arjun still use the car or has he sold it ? Film stars cars are always put to its extreme because they need to to run on most challenging surfaces to reach some Shooting locations an all. Hence, it is hard to find buyers too if not for the bragging right of owning a 'particular' star's car.

if the bentley u are talking is a pondy registered and with the number starting with 9*** , then the pics were not taken in pondy.

The pics were NOT clicked by me. And as per the info given to me by the guy who CLICKED IT, he spotted it in Pondy. Don't know the number as he already had the number plates struck.
To clear the confusion :
The Bentley was snapped in Pondy but the car is from Chennai.
I had posted the pics in Chennai thread a few months back as there was no separate thread dedicated to Pondy.
Source being the same : Surendar !!
Nissan 350Z. I think it is the same car from Bangy.

Pondicherry is a very small town but there are quite a lot of tourists' movement. In the first 2 weeks of my stay here I have seen the following on the ECR either going to or coming from Pondy.
- Gallardo
- Hummer
- Lexus RX
- Quite a few Volvos (No, I am not saying the B7R)
Sorry, did not take pics since both my camera and phone have ditched me.
Most of the cars are registered there due to the cheap life tax for the vehicle, since to Pondy being a UT. It doesnt mean people in pondy have bought such expensive cars. No offense to the people of Pondy, but the fact is a fact. I have seen a ferrari modena being registered there when I visited Delhi recently. It belongs to a famous MP from Mumbai. The above is one of example of several registrations done their by outsiders.

Very true. You would see most of those Pondy registered cars in Chennai. One would save 2-5 lakhs on a BMW 3 series. Probably save 20 lakhs on a Audi R8 if registered in Pondy.
For the past 3 years, I see many BMWs registered in Pondy but a few Mercs and Audis. Now even Mercs and Audis are following suit.
Yesterday afternoon, I saw a brand new Jag XJL near La Terrace restaurant. It had a temporary registration from karnataka. KA-51 TR. Could anyone tell where is KA 51 ?
