Good way of starting your journey on TBHP Octane97 I guess there are around three R8s in Mumbai now. I have seen one grey and another one in black.

More than three brother. 2 greys, 1 blacks, 1 white, 1 yellow and 1 gold. The gold looks the best of the lot.

Hmmm videos sounds good, I did chase down he Parx Supercar Girls. Will try that for sure. Activa !!! i'm gonna miss my baby she saw many many & many exotics at locations like private docks, custom clearing sheds & what not she was my star. Had to sell cause of family pressure.

I'm pretty sure i saw the metal stick & not the "Flappy Pedal Gears" (JC's words LoLzzz i love those). About this being a display car is a bit dicey cause many of the bhpians & even i spotted this beast unleashed plus the person whom i saw driving is sure not to take so many test drives around Mumbai. Perfect guess Buddy. The sold R8(V8) was grey with black Side-Blades. If i'm not wrong I spotted a Bentley Flying Spur (Alpine white)which is allegedly owned by 'Him' near his newly opened exclusive nightclub at linking road, Bandra. The Aracio atlas Gallardo was in media as it was supposed to the engagement present from him along with the huge rock in the ring. Aaj Tak sported a news something like "Engagement Ring ke Saath Sportscar free". LoLzz such hilarious stuff these people do.

My predictions about R8s in Mumbai-
#The grey one was of the same owner which was sold & was spotted in Goa soon after.
#The black one was a hunt for me heard the news that Firm named Hyperformance cars brought in the beauty in late 2007 spotted her in November or December the same year. Don't quite remember the perfect date as wasn't used to penning down stuff then. I spotted her in Bandra. Owner/ Driver took her for small spins. Saw her by Aurus twice then heard the rumor that it belonged to a 'very big name' in construction, who has stake in Aurus & has one of the best "Stable" in Mumbai which allegedly consist of Fezza, Hummers, RRs, Bentley, lots of other Audis & Shooting Stars. I still feel all this was imaginative. Last spotting was in 2008. The registration was too fabulous. "R8" with a big 8 which i noticed when she zoomed pasted me on bandstand towards the TLE (Taj Lands End).
#Saw a white R8 at Madh-Islands on a private property with Delhi registration.
#Spotted another black R8 with Gujrat registration at Palm Beach Road, New Mumbai. Rumors suggested that the owner also has a Maserati GT with MH registration.

Yes, There is no other Golden coloured R8. He hopefully meant the same car.

This R8 belongs to the MD of Audi Mumbai West, the new Audi dealer in Mumbai. The car has special exhibition paint and it's copper colour. It was displayed at the 2010 Auto Expo in Delhi. Funky Devil was right, the car has an R-tronic auto transmission and carbon fibre side blades, front spoiler, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and ORVMS. Attaching a few more pics,please forgive the quality of pics as the were taken by a mobile phone cam.

Mamma Mia shez a stunner .... Whats Mumbai West ? Theres nothing like this in Mumbai. It might be Mumbai central West. As of now theres one at Annie Besant Road, Worli & they have plans for one at Link road, Andheri. No idea about the progress.

#The Stick which pops from the gearbox made me think that its a Manual. Why on earth people waste money on those autos rather than enjoying the adrenalin rush of manuals. drive a muscle with manual i'm sure they wont touch any auto again. Computers kill the sheer pleasure of driving.....

It's at Audi Mumbai West dealership, showroom coming up at Andheri west, new link road,diagonally opposite star baazar & workshop is fully operational,it's at CST road in Kalina,Santacruz east
