saw the s2000 at a mechanic shed...its supercharged and has nos...its a 11 second car!has been sent down here to be drag ready for the mumbai speed run...its being done up b ythe guy who does madans car...btw its gautham singhanias...the mechanic told me if all goes fine it should be a 11 second car...

I posted about this long time back. Both , the S2000 and singhania's elise are being supercharged by a "bolt-on" turbo.

@karthik247: Lets see who kicks who's . JD's evo could do a 10 sec timing at the 2005 speedrun itself. Becos of reliability issues, they took it soft. Anyways, drag race also involves a skillful driver at the wheel.

Comparing "Mr. three second reaction-time" with the "national road-racing champion" is like comparing ur AC blower with a Tornado!!

I have my doubts what that S2000 is going to do because the last time it was shot with NOS later the engine collapsed . What has he done now? Rebuilt the engine or got a new one?

There's going to be a lot of surprises in the Speed Run next year i'm sure

Man I dont know how you guys figure out the timings... 11 second car without even seeing how quick the car can actually go.. Ive heard ppl talking about zens going 13 seconds.. how do you guys do it.. Honestly.. Alot can be said without knowing it.. Anyways.. Thats how most ppl concieve and pass on timings without knowing the actual figures.. same goes for the power of the car..

I know a couple supras with 700+ bhp which have done 13 s timings.

Zens doing 13 seconds?? maybe its the 0-100 kph timing.

this timing on a zen reminds me of someone who betted wid me that he can build a 12 sec yezdi roadking.....
i tried to explain him what it takes to make a 12 sec bike and he said that he can do it.....wht can i say?

I've heard of ppl quoting unheard timings just like that.....city's doing 13secs, balenos doing 13.4secs, zen doing 13 secs etc etc.....
however untill we get proper drag strips like at abroad wid mounted speed guns and timing devices, i will always suspect errors....

autocar seems to be really good with their timing, however other organisers like VASA show unheard timings!
