Lancer Evolution IX tours India

Hi All,

I happen to check the offical Lancer website, http://www.lancerinindia.com/diff/index.html Where an announcement was made that Lancer Evolution IX is kept for display.

I managed to have a look at the car in person at Lathangi automobiles Bangalore. I must say it was nostalgic as Lancer Evolution looked stunning. The stock lancer displayed next to it looked skinny.

A Greyish lancer EVO was on display (Would have liked a red one..). The looks were robust with huge 17inch wheels. Sorry could not get pics on it as I did not take my camera/cellphone with me.

I sat in the car and started the engine. It was music to my ears. A Turbo MIVEC. The feel was incredible. Although the sales person did not let me drive it as it was only for display.

Check the website out for technical specifications on the Lancer evolution.
Inside the car I did find the seats to be very normal nothing spectacular about it. The upholstery of the car needs refinement though.

I wish Mitsubishi lauches the Lancer Evoution IX in India.
