this is insane...mr. Mod Note: Please do not disclose any names here, whether you know who owns it or not. now has new "S" defnitely the first in india....well another fisrt to his cap..or did i speak too soon...!

From where did he get the S-class.It is not officially on sale in RHD format as yest.it will go on sale in jan 2006 in UK.i think he must have paid a huge extra amount to get it here before everyone else.

IMO the S-class will looks much better in person than in pics and i really like the rear lights 100 times better treatment than the 7 series,definately more maybach than 7 series.

Remember seeing the RR a couple of days ago on Worli Seaface with a Cayenne Turbo and an S Class.
BTW, i didn't know the RHD version of the S was released.
Could be here for testing purposes - ACI,OD.

But i thought people weren't allowed to import LHD unless it is for homologation purposes (in order to save time).
Either way, it's good news though i like the latter one better.

you can imoprt a left hand drive on carneee......... but the car has to leave the country after one year.....and cannot be registered in india so it has the plates of the country from where it was registered........

The word is Carnet - an international document permitting use of a car in a forieng country for upto 1 year

new S class in delhi

saw a new silver S class the other day here in gk 1.it had gurgaon reg.(hr 26 ####) i suppose.but i dont understand one thing that the auto magazine people say that it is due for 2007........so how come it is ON ROAD in 2006????? is it an import or what???

and one more thing....is there any cheaper variant of the new s class?? i mean its priced at 1.25 cr i guess.so ppl will have to shell out that much atleast to buy a new "S class" ??? or is there ne cheaper variant also available???
