Why No Owners Names???

Hi Folks
is it just me or there are others as well that notice that when a non indian car is spotted around bombay or other parts of the country and even if the spotter knows whos car it is , it is never ever mentioned on the thread. Is there a reason for this why cars owners like to be discreet in India??? I would have thought if u drive a car which is gonnna stick out people will know who u are anyway and its good to be mentioned on the thread?? at least me thinks so??
