Whoa! I was in that building on Thursday and still managed to miss noticing this dealership. The white RSV4 looks lipsmackingly good!
Looks like it shares its premises with a Piaggio CV shop.

Aprilia is a subsidiary company of piaggio....
the website they said will be up and about in a month or two....
the showroom was earlier a 3 wheeler and 4 wheeler showroom for piaggio vehicles....which has been cleared out and revamped to accommodate Aprilia superbikes.

Do these guys have a showroom in Bangalore as well? and any idea what are the OTR of these bikes. They look awesome, i have been having an eye on Suzuki Hayabusa either new or used. There is Red one in my apartment and i probably will talk to the guy if he is thinking of selling it sometime soon.

Is Aprilia planning to bring RS 125 -- the Italian smoker -- to India??? Had a chance to ride it while I was in UAE. It is mindblowing. Just 125 CC, but man it was fast!!!

Dont know when these guys will learn about MKTG...
Take a cue from how HD, they aggressively market & everybody knows their presence irrespective of whether they buy or not...
Aprilla dont make the same mistakes like many other SBK's did or still doing in marketing their product

I don't think the RS125 will ever make it to indian shores as it is a 2-stroke machine, homologation would be an issue.
In US also, the permitted sales quota is restricted for the RS125 but thats from the dealer cartel, not sure how it works though

Hi!
The showroom is close to my house ,off Pune Satara road near Bibvewadi corner. Earlier it was a Piagio showroom. I will check out the bikes on display tomorrow. Last week they were renovating the showroom.

Wow, never knew this was coming. I knew Shrikant Apte has an Aprilia for his personal use. He's known to be an automotive enthusiast and has also made a custom car that is displayed at the Pune festival rally.

Any idea if Aprilia has officially come into India?

Great to see the bikes. With the maturing biking scene in India, it makes perfect sense to have the presence and try to capitalize. But I wonder what would be their strategy for after sales. Are their enough personnel to know and cater the customers? And I personally feel the Aprilia 125s and 250s are the ones which make immense sense as entry level sportsbikes for our roads.

Got to give it to the Italians for their styling and engineering packages

The white dorsoduro looks awsome!!! Wonder if its the 1200 or the 750. Probably 1200 which means it sits upwards of 12+lacs.
