mobike008, sure let me know what time and day you plan and also would be advisable to confirm with Rebel if their bonnie with arrow exhaust has come back from its trip

Iam busy today and tomorrow in evenings. Earliest I can make it is on Wednesday evening and will check before visiting.

You ok with around 7:30pm on Wednesday to visit Rebel to ride the Arrow'ed Bonnie?

Offtopic, my plans of picking the bike in April first week have been dampened as I got a call from Rebel stating an anticipated price bike for all CKD models in April first week. I believe I would end up paying approx 30-40k more :\ unless I pick it in this month. Time to rethink my strategy and plan [crap].

You mean price hike? Ok, that is pretty much evident and iam sure that is also due to the budget and also to some extent of the bike picking up popularity with prospective customers

If you dont mind asking, what's the problem of picking the bike before month-end? Unless there is a compelling reason to buy in April 1st week, I think you should pick it up immediately

Btw, there is another friend (non-tbhpian) who picked up a Blue & White Bonnie day before yesterday and will be joining our future rides:)

New Financial year is my guess towards why poeple favour buying a new vehicle then.

I'm waiting for the same

Need a video of this test ride please! My friend and I saw a T100 on the way back from Chikamagalur (on our Duke390s) and the bike was very muted and sober. We got all the attention since I think most people just thought he was a Bullet while our shrill engines and orange paint-job attracts a lot of attention.

The Arrows can change that ;)

Well like P.S mentioned since april 1st marks new financial year, we wanted to take it in it as I recently purchased a XUV on my name and for accounting. With the looks of it I would need to pick it before my planned date. Time to work out the finances. I will let you know about tomorrow as I might end up going to bank for working out my finance.

@sanketdesai82 - Is this price hike across the models Or just bonni? Have you checked with other Triumph dealer in B'lore?

I feel this is a bluff, infact the prices have reduced here in BLR. About 15k for Bonnie after the new budget, this will change only if there is a change in taxes etc announced by next govt in their new budget. Do check with other dealer in another state before you go break your deposits :)

Today morning at 8:00AM there was a knock on the door and when I opened it was the guy from Autokrom with whom I had scheduled an appointment to wax the "Black Bruiser"

You can check out these guys here :-

http://www.autokrom.com/serv_ext_Pla...otection.shtml

It was a 1.30 hours job that involved using of 6 different products and each and every part of the bike was addressed including the tyres, rims, exhausts etc

This post has some "BEFORE" pictures of the Black Bruiser and next post will have some "AFTER" pictures

It was a fair enough job but, being black color the high gloss is not as visible as the T100 ( Black and Red) of my friend as it had more chrome and metal parts

Here are some snaps of the BEFORE job. Sorry about the hazy pics even though they come from my beloved 35mm ( as I snapped away in a hurry), next set of pics are more in focus:D

Here are some pictures of my Black Bruiser "AFTER" the Autokrom Wax and Polishing treatment.

It has really transformed the Bonnie and makes it stand out like never before

Will probably get this done once every 6 months :thumbs up

Our entire apartment is being painted and you can see some of that activity in Bonnie's reflections :D

Thats quite a glitter for bike with minmal chrome. Can you share the pricing if not an issue.

Is this just a wax/polish treatment or a surface coating like Teflon ?Does that attract lots of dust like wat happns after usual waxing ?

It's akin to a teflon coat and not just a simple wax and polish and it involves treating every component of the bike as mentioned earlier like rims, rubber, metal parts etc.

More details here :-

http://www.autokrom.com/serv_ext_Pla...otection.shtml

It costed me INR 1,000 and they are saying with a bit of maintenance this shine will be retained atleast for 6 months and even 1 year in some cases and friendly service thrown in that every 2 months, he will drop in and do a thorough rubbing of the bike....

My entire friend circle uses this product including for some high end cars

Iam quite happy with their service and end result. Next will be MM and WA :)

The Helmet is looking great..simple yet packs a punch.

The detailing on the bike has turned her into a shining beast…i would also suggest you get yourself a bottle of Wurth spray shine and a micro fibre cloth..you can keep her gleaming always.:)

Thanks. I strive valiantly to keep up with all the names and acronyms of your harem. :D

MM has more chrome than paint though. Can't see how chrome can shine more than it already does.

You can go to the car accessories market and ask for the wurth spray shine bottle, its a plastic bottle with the spray thing on top. The micro fibre cloth also you shall get there. We use it for all our cars and my friends use it for the supercars as well. I have never used Autokrom so can't comment on the product.
