Now you decide.:)

I think on Looks alone R1 is a winner ....

My choice is the R1

My Vote Goes To YAMAHA R1.

Cheers,
Mugen_Power.

the r1 is like a porsche...stonking performance...reasonable price...The augusta is exotic material like a lambo...huuge price for the exotic cycle parts...even more stonking performance..tht makes it my fav..

My choice is the YAMAHA R1

The R1 for sure!
Its far more affordable too

i still love the busa but here its F4 but would like to see the bike with golden alloys.

How on earth can you guys compare these 2 bikes?
One is a Jap(SPECIALLY FOR HONDAY DUDE) wannabe and the other is a Pedigreed Stalion....
Anyone that says the R1 is better then the MV needs their head examined.. IMO naturally before the mods give me a slap on the wrist for saying all this

Jeez!! what is this, a joke ??!! A MV Agusta F4 vs a Yamaha R1:Shockked: !! The F4 is a much better bike, hands down. you cant even compare the two bikes together. the R1 isn't as good as it used to be... and its time ppl in India got over the 'magic' of the R1 and opened their eyes.

mv agusta for me...senna version

i'll pick the R1 crispy curvy body and performance to add up . the best for me

i really agree to u buddy.... n above all u cant compare the 2.... y dun u wanna compare r1 with n rr???

F4 for me. I am all ga-ga over the Senna, corse and Mamba.

Well, it's like this.

The R1 has aptly been tipped as a Porsche.

Let's compare the R1 and F4 like a 911 GT3 RS and a Ferrari 360 CS.

The Porsche is not as easy to handle as the Ferrari, and does not have fancy electronics like it either. It does not reek of carbon fiber or dazzle onlookers as much as the Ferrari does in looks. But, the Porsche is a whole 40,000 pounds cheaper than the Ferrari and there is very little to choose from them when it comes to performance.

The same can be applicable here, and while MV are doing good now, let's not forget that Yamaha produce bikes a lot cheaper than MV, and that they have been setting the benchmark for litre class bikes since 1998.

Yamaha have also not really brought abt any major changes in the R1 since 2004, except maybe for the introduction of the slipper-type clutch, unlike Suzuki and Honda. Let's wait, I think Yamaha are already getting ready to beat the Dukes and MVs.

Haven't you already posted this before? I guess we've discussed it too.
